For this project, Eustis Chair created a new chair design for The Bartlett Dining Commons on the campus of University of Chicago. The Bartlett Hall Chair, from Eustis Chair, is a Gothic-style hardwood chair with stacking capability. This chair is the first of it’s kind: an elegant and traditional chair that is also stackable. The design of this chair was made possible by a revolutionary new chair joint technology that uses precisely spaced steel rods and space-age epoxies to create a seat joint that is stronger than the wood itself.
