College and university renovations are some of our best clients. We specialize heavily in chair for high uses spaces. In fact, our chairs are specifically designed for lasting use for 2 reason. First and foremost, we have the strongest joinery on the market. We understand that high use spaces like university dining halls and libraries face a lot of daily wear and tear. Furthermore, we make all of our chairs a with steel rods and injected with retrograde epoxy for extra stability to create our Eustis Joint. Second, almost half of our wooden chairs are stackable. In addition, stacking chairs provide ease in storage, set up, and take down.
Due to these two added benefits, Marist College came to us with a renovation project. Marist chose Robert A.M. Stern Architects of New York City for the major renovation of their student center. Stern Architects recommended a traditional hardwood stacking chair for the renovation, and the College chose our Willard chair for their 540 seat dining hall, the centerpiece of the renovated Student Center. Engineered with the proprietary Eustis Joint®, the Willard stacks 6-8 high, and comes with a 20 year warranty.
