Traditional Dining and Church Chairs
We were asked by New York City architects Robert A.M. Stern to create a stacking chair for the College of William & Mary. Their dining hall at the Mason School of Business needed Georgian-style seating to match the decor. The school requested a chair that would withstand high use from students for many years to come. As a result, we had a custom stacking chair become one of the stars of our collection. This is the perfect chair to withstand daily wear and tear in the student dining area. The William and Mary has a Colonial influence in its simple lines, but a distinct Neoclassical flair in the curled top rail. This chair works best in a formal dining area, especially one with gorgeous architectural detail.
The William and Mary
The William and Mary chair measures 35 inches in height, which lends itself well to any setting as needed. Additionally engineered with our proprietary Eustis Joint®, the strongest joint construction on the market. In fact, we are so confident in our chairs that we give a 20-year warranty protecting against joint failure to all of our chairs with a Eustis Joint. This elegant new chair also stacks 6-8 chairs high.
