The Novato is an adaptation of our popular Fairfield chair. A West Coast client needed to bring down the cost, to suit the needs of their institution. Therefore, we eliminated the curve in the lower back slats. This gave the chair a more traditional Arts & Crafts look. The result is a beautiful chair, particularly when done in quarter sawn White Oak. In addition, the comfort and durability of the Novato chair is second to none. This design is an entry-level Eustis Chair for clients who want to purchase a lot of chairs with a tighter budget.
The Novato
The Novato chair has a traditional look. The chair’s superior durability allows it to last for years in even the most demanding library environments. Moreover, our joinery is the best on the market. The Novato is made with our mortise and tenon joinery, complete with wooden stretchers to support the legs. Eustis Chair guarantees our chairs will last decades.
