Wallingford Public Library, in Wallingford Connecticut, offers the local community a comfortable place to study, relax, and read. The Wallingford Public Library worked with Janice Newell of JNI Design to choose a new classic library chair.

Eustis Chair designed the King and Prince chair for a four star resort. This resort needed a stackable chair to match their Victorian dining room. However, you do not need a Victorian dining room to order this chair. It is a lovely chair that looks beautiful in any space, including yours. The King and Prince arm chair stacks 6 chairs high. The classic Victorian style of this arm chair includes claw arm details. This Victorian stacking arm chair is gorgeous! The crest rail along the top of the chair slopes down from its finials. It has a gracefully carved back slat, presenting a seat that seems tailored for royalty. Its arm chair iteration ends in seat rails similar to the paws of a lion, a common symbol for powerful dynasties.
Eustis Chair recently worked with Salt Lake, Utah based MJSA Architects for a fun library wood chair project. The Ephraim City Library loves research. They are a gathering place for locals to complete research. Of course they would not make a decision for a new library chair without doing their research first. They researched. They went with Eustis Chair, of course! The library and the architects made a great decision. Eustis Chair loves to work with libraries of all sizes.
Eustis Chair first met St. Louis based Mackey Mitchell Architects at university trade shows. They happened to be an exhibitor at several of the same trade shows as us. We were able to tell them all about our patented Eustis Joint®. The Eustis Joint makes the chair joints stronger than the hardwood itself. Isn’t that something? We love to make dining room chairs for great institutions.
Yale University enjoys working with Eustis Chair, and the feeling is mutual. For this project with Yale University, Eustis Chair paired up with Chicago based HBRA Architects. Yale University knew they wanted custom made chairs for their major renovation of the Bass Library, formerly known as the Cross Campus Library. After researching custom chair companies, Yale University chose Eustis Chair.
Harvard-Westlake School is a well-known private school in Los Angeles, California. They have 1600 students on campus from 157 zip codes. With over 100 on-campus clubs and activities as well as an impressive list of alumni, it’s easy to see why so many people want to attend. Eustis Chair designed the Westlake Contemporary Chair for Harvard-Westlake School. They are not the only ones who love our Westlake Chair for it’s contemporary chair design.
The Emma Willard School in Troy, New York, has educated girls for more than 200 years. That’s quite a legacy of learning. The school is a leading college prep boarding and day school. The school has empowered girls to shape the world around them since 1814. What an impressive journey. We love to make stacking wooden chairs for such great institutions.

Chubb Hotel and Conference Center, in LaFayette Hill, Pennsylvania is a club of discerning taste. They are often hosts to numerous wedding, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, as well as milestone event celebrations. The space has 42 conference rooms where you can free yourself from outside distractions. These spaces accommodate anywhere between 5 and 500 guests. With over 50,000 feet of meeting and conference space, the center has to order a lot of furniture to keep the place, well, furnished. The HNA Palisades Premier Conference Center, formerly the IBM Executive Conference Center, is in Palisades, NY. The space plays host to a myriad of weddings and other wonderful events. The Center in on 106 acres of meticulously landscaped grounds. The center is close enough to New York City, but still far enough away to catch your breath. In short, this location is excellent. We love that they purchased our Bainbridge Stacking Chairs for their space.

Library renovations are a core part of our business. Why? Because every good library needs comfortable yet durable seating. What’s better than curling up with a good book in a comfortable chair? Furthermore, libraries are some of the highest use spaces. Chairs with durable joinery is a must. Most cheap wooden chairs are made with less durable joinery. However, those chairs tend to break after only a few years of use. We craft our chairs with steel rods and reinforce them with retrograde epoxy for added stability. The second of two batches of Skillman chairs was delivered today to Swarthmore College. Furthermore, the second installation was 100 chairs to the Cornell Science Library at Swarthmore College. Two weeks ago we delivered 55 Skillman chairs to Beverly Hills Public Library. This classic Arts & Crafts style chair design was developed two years ago for the Detroit Public Library’s Skillman Library Branch and has become a mainstay in our line of traditional library chairs.
Bids were awarded today for 184 Jenkins chairs to be manufactured for the expansion/renovation of the Wheaton Public Library. Furthermore, Wheaton Public Library is located in Wheaton, IL. Library personnel first saw the Jenkins Chair at the 2005 ALA conference. They loved the chairs’ simple elegance. Later, they asked their architects, Dewberry, to look into this unique chair. After several months of deliberations, the durable library chairs were finally ordered this week.
