You may know by now that dining halls are one of our specialties. Why? Because we design chairs specifically for high-use spaces. In fact, our mission is to create a durable yet elegant stacking and nonstacking hardwood dining hall chair. Furthermore, we understand that high-use spaces such as dining halls withstand tons of daily wear and tear. Therefore, we created the strongest joinery on the market. We craft our chairs with steel rods and retrograde epoxy for additional support. Our New England-made chairs are second to none.
Rhodes College came to us looking for the strongest hardwood chairs on the market. After much deliberation with staff and faculty, they chose our Bartlett Hall chair. They knew our Bartlett chair was perfect for their refectory/dining hall renovation.
Rhodes College was a previous client of ours. 8 years ago, they chose our Federal Reserve chair for their new library. For their new project, Rhodes worked with architects Hanbury Evans Wright Vlattas + Company. The committee and the designers were pleased with the look of the Bartlett Hall. Rhodes College Facilities staff were thrilled to find a stacking dining hall chair with a 20-year warranty due to its Eustis Joint construction. They are excited to use our chairs for many years or decades to come without joint failure!
