Barstool Chair for Duke University
Duke University is in Durham, North Carolina. It started in 1838. It is still thriving today. In fact, Duke now enrolls over 6,500 undergraduate students annually. They also enroll about 8,500 graduate students each year. Thus, this type of growth calls for campus renovation projects along the way.
In fact, Duke University selected Architect, Clark Nexsen to renovate their East Union Marketplace student dining area. Their design included a barstool chair idea. They knew who to call! Eustis Chair, of course. We all worked together to create a new chair. Thus, our new Jenkins bar stool was created for this renovation.
Jenkins: A New Barstool Chair Design
The Jenkins barstool shares design elements with our Jenkins dining and study chair. It also comes with a 20 year warranty against joint failure for unmatched durability. This is all thanks to our patented Eustis Joint®. The Jenkins bar stool is made in the USA. We make each chair from sustainably grown hardwoods. It can be made with a wood or cushioned seat. You can use any commercially available fabric or leather. Each chair is custom stained to match your tables or room design.
We love working with University clients. We look forward to working with Duke again for future renovation projects.
